Sunday School 4 years, 5 months ago@Autumn – I think we could substitute “Canada” in the link with any of several other countries and the story would read much the same. I also think that Covid has helped by giving many of those with only one foot in a church the time and space to think independently about their beliefs. Sunday School 4 years, 5 months ago@Autumn – I think is problem is that people just won’t clean up the forests as they did in the U.S. with the “Make America Rake Again” campaign. Sunday School 5 years, 1 month agoMaking something happen, having a place in the causal chain, is distinct from being responsible for it. We judge people because it’s in our nature to do so, just as it’s in the offender’s nature to do as they do, but we have no control over our actions in any relevant moral/ethical sense. Ditto for the defender.

Sunday School 5 years, 2 months agoI’m not going to do the quotes thing. I think you and anyone else reading what you wrote will follow me well enough.
First, the world the average person lives in and people with gender/sex issues have to operate in doesn’t pay a lot of attention to semantics, other, perhaps, than to abuse them from time to time.
