Sunday School 11 months, 4 weeks agoI can’t help but to argue with Creationists. I keep telling myself not to debate Science with this “kind” of people, but it is fun and sometimes I get a breakthrough.
“God seems to have spent most of his creative effort on beetles, not humans. I mean, there are 400,000 described species of them and only 1 species of human. Funny how God saved a…[Read more]

Sunday School 12 months agoAn Ode to The Trump Slump
Old Trump he shuffles, his head hangs low,
Another factory its workers dumped.
He used to whistle, watch the good times roll,
This time the economy has him stumped.
Within his chest, a heavy, aching dread.
The vibrant pulse of commerce as it fades.
He reads the news, the fearful words are read
About the faltering country…[Read more] -

Sunday School 12 months agoOur ape-borne, tribal, magical brains will be de-selected at some point. Until then we do have lots of suffering to administer to the “others”.
It is frustrating to those who have moments of clarity. Moment when our heritage of “killing to eat” under the leadership of an alpha ape becomes obvious. Moments when we understand why the spirits that…[Read more]

Cardinal (n.)
A senior official in the Catholic Church, tasked with ensuring that centuries of patriarchal tradition, ceremonial robes, and incense remain more spiritually significant than actionable moral clarity.
From the Latin “cardo,” meaning hinge — presumably to support doors firmly shut against reform.
Mullah (n.)
A cleric in Islam…[Read more]

Sunday School 12 months agoSouthern belle, Lindsay Graham is saying Trump should be the Pope. How is such long line of ass kissers even possible? The line would persist for months if each of them had the chance to nuzzle up and plant their lips.
Why does an economic depression seem like a good idea?

Sunday School 12 months ago@ Enco – If I were using a hard copy dictionary…..I did and my parents made me eat it! We used to get a new or uncommon word to learn every few days. I am addicted to cryptic crosswords and have done at least one but usually 2 or 3 every week since I was 18. I average about 35 books a year. So I am very good at sophisticated blasphemy 🙂

Sunday School 12 months agoHere is one of the reasons that Jews were discriminated against at Harvard and many elite American institutions in the early 20th century.
Jewish enrollment at elite colleges in the U.S. began to rise significantly due to merit-based admissions (which emphasized academic achievement). By the 1925, Jewish students made up more than 25% of the…[Read more]
