Sunday School 1 year, 9 months agoI was on a phone call with my Israeli client earlier today. We spent ten minutes on work and then shot the breeze for a couple of hours.
He asked me about the US elections. I asked him how he felt about Netanyahu and his reply was fascinating. Along the lines of:
Personally he hates Bibi but that’s because all the liberals hate him. The O…[Read more]

Jeebus, they just dropped Breathe, a song that Lava Records wanted on their last album but Pau told them ok, only as long as she’s not required to sing it live. In the Pepsi concert, she said she might play Breathe live, but only after she sees how the audience reacts to Black Holes. Breathe is the song track that has been played during concert…[Read more]

Have you noticed that Dany is using her Fender baritone guitar more and more?Oh yeah, recently heavier. Some familiar with TW mention they don’t like the extra processing in their latest music, while others point out how some processing was done, while liking it. As for reactors new to TW, hearing the new songs before their older…[Read more]

So live show Pepsi Center CDMX 2023 might be comparable in quality to Teatro CDMX 2022. It’ll have a whole nuther set of reactions, starting with the single song releases. People point out how they’ve matured musically over only one year. They’re releasing singles from it, and I imagine they might release the whole concert after it’s fully edited.…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 9 months agoIt’s a form of love, hero worship and a sense of belonging. It’s not a comparison of policies between candidates. Trump built this with the MAGA movement.
This is why the sorts of things that might make them reconsider, are emotionally based. His crowd is too small. He’s losing his marbles. And finally, he’s boring. He has nothing new to say t…[Read more]

I was just going to sample a few minutes of it, having the usual fancam’s low audio quality, but then it got interesting.
They sounded tired to me, and that should never surprise anyone as they work so hard, and this could have been a last minute rush to put it all together. (Just guessing. It looks likely there were not many invitations given…[Read more]

My quick scan wrt reasons why this topic came up.
IMO, my sense of a bigger picture has less to do with “freedom to express opinions”, and more to do with “fighting libtard culture”.
Youtube channel WILL (@WILawLiberty), Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, seems to be looking for support in fighting emotionally laden culture war issues…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 9 months agoI’m not sure there’s anything in Islam encouraging nice manners, unless nice manners include burying women vertically in the sands of an arena with only their heads above ground, and stoning them to death for imagined apostasy – often accused by their husbands so he can get rid of them and snag a new wife.
Do yourself a favour and read ‘A Thous…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 9 months ago@simon. Attilla the Hun had some people who succeeded as a result of his brutality.
Genghis Khan unified all the Mongolian tribes with his brutality.
Alexander III of Macedonia was a fiendishly cruel man who introduced elephants to the art of war. No doubt a few people were happy with this.
I’m not going to mention the German guy.

I lived (in sin, haha) with an electronic engineer in the early 80’s.There are two memorable elements of this story
1. He had one contract building circuit boards that would used in a satellite by the Ministry of Defence in the UK. I had to sign the Official Secrets Act in case he talked in his sleep. Anyway there was a time p…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 10 months ago@unseen Pi is like a long Chinese dragon. The three is a lead strong red. The 1 is white but then 4 green and 2 yellow. Effectively colours tailing off into the distance.
@Jake I like the weirdness. I met someone who has sound synesthesia and listens to music whilst she watches colours dance.
It’s a fun oddity
