I’ve been trying for several years to get one or the other of some of the better reactors to react to this masterpiece, but it’s hindered by not having a video associated with it. I wish someone would create a fanvid to go with it.
Understand, I’m pretty much into rock and folk rocks is decidedly not my “thing” at all, but the lyrics of this song…[Read more]

It looks like I’m inheriting a couple of northern CA groups to manage, both related to skepticism and critical thinking. “Local”…[Read more]

“The Internet will bring us all together” is up there with “Computers will do away paper.”
Anyone still cheerleading for AI or minimizing its potential negative impacts should be reminded of the unintended/unanticipated consequences of technology.

Anyone think that Gretchen Whitmer might be a better prospect than Biden? I think abortion rights will be at the forefront of the campaign and she has already successfully run in Michigan on it. She may even get Republican female voters on her side. She would triumph in a debate with Spanky McLiarface.

Once the algorithms get you to the bottom of the rabbit hole you may find yourself in a Bespoke Reality. I am placing a bet tomorrow that the term will be a contender for the Word of the Year, 2024.

Live on in your Dreamland where animals die a painless and stress free death with their friends and relatives gathered around them to see them off to The Happy Hunting Ground. And not in pain from disease and/or while a predator or predator(s) eat them alive as they are dying.
You just don’t want any blood on your hands.

Cattle and other animal crops serve a valid purpose. Every creature on Earth is food for something else. That includes you and me. There’s nothing unnatural about eating the kind of food nature designed us to eat. If a hungry bear attacks and eats me, would we say that the bear shouldn’t have killed me because I’m sentient and therefor I…[Read more]

We legally limit algorithms in various contexts. Here are some areas where legal restrictions or guidelines may apply:
Intellectual Property Laws: Algorithms, especially if they involve unique and innovative methods, may be subject to intellectual property laws such as patents or trade secrets.
Antitrust and Competition Laws: In some…[Read more]

Well… that’s not gonna happen.
Hopefully, soon, the Dem party elders will start paying attention to the polls.
Biden can’t win even a general election according to some polls. And in order to win in the electoral college, he’d have to lead Trump by several points in the popular election.

I agree with a lot of what you outlined as to why the Dems are losing their grip on the working class mostly HS-educated electorate, not all. For example, Hamas isn’t about freedom only but also about the theft of and squatting on land and property by Europeans. THAT is what created Hamas and put the entire Middle East into turmoil.
