I can think of reasons your therapist wouldn’t want you to vent in sessions depending on her modality.

that must be it then. It’s called cpt cognitive processing therapy I think. That’s probably why. Does it work? Or is it another huge waste of time and money like so many bandaid fixes are lol…if it’s legit maybe I’ll give it a go

So far the options available are very disappointing….it’s really crazy.

Does your work at least offer benefits so you can get support to help manage the stress and navigate the whole situation?

Thankfully yes….hoping they don’t give up on me. My attendance lately has been less than stellar

What keeps me safest is her getting the help she needs….And it doesn’t seem like there’s a way for that to happen. And it’s got me stressed out to the point where it’s affecting my job. Because it’s affecting me bad.

UPDATE: She was transferred to a psychiatric hospital for “competency” restoration….and she called me from the hospital. We talked. I don’t know what to do. if I’m being honest… I think I would need to see the entire meeting they had there at the FDIC to understand if the guys interpretation of what they are saying is correct because all of the little snippets that they showed did not show the previous context. How do we know they didn’t cherry pick and they’re making their own narrative?
